| On April 26 I ventured up to the Kane County Fairgrounds in Illinois for the Chicago Toy Show. This is my second trip to the show and it didn't disappoint. I was able to find a loose and complete Indiana Jones action figure from the original Raiders of the Lost Ark line. I got it for a great price, better than any price I've seen on eBay. I'm now only missing Marion Ravenwood to complete my loose collection of the original line. Also at the toy show I picked up two mint-on-card German Soldiers from Wave 2 of the Disney line. This completes my carded and loose collection of that particular wave. There were other Indiana Jones items I saw that I didn't have ranging from books, posters and a mint-in-box 12" Kenner Indiana Jones action figure. I needed to stay on budget so I passed on the 12" figure and instead picked up a Temple of Doom birthday card similar to the Raiders of the Lost Ark card I have posted on the Raiders collectibles page. With the new toys hitting stores this week it's nice to strike a balance between old and new items. I've added the Indiana Jones loose figure to the Raiders collectibles page and will add the other items soon. |
