"That belongs in a museum!"

This page features items in my collection directly related to The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles television series. When the TV show premiered on March 4, 1992, it was met with all kinds of hype. And deservedly so since this was a TV adaptation to three of the most successful films of all time. The premiere two-hour episode ranked among the top 10 shows for that week. Unfortunately as the show progressed the ratings didn't hold. The casual Indiana Jones fan wasn't interested in the character development angle the show used. They wanted an "artifact-of-the-week" style of storytelling. The show only lasted about a season and a half. It's short run and focus on history and character limited the opportunities for collectibles. Traditional items such as activity books, comics, trading cards and young adult books were produced but nothing really unique to help promote the show.
