The official Indiana Jones Web site has reported that Lucasfilm has finally released some new Indiana Jones merchandise through Star Wars Shop. Click the link in the Treasure Chest to the right to see the six different and new snazzy baseball caps that are now available for pre-order and will ship in July. Hopefully this is a sign that more collectibles are on the way from Lucasfilm. With the 25th anniversary of the release of Raiders of the Lost Ark hitting on Monday this is a great way to celebrate the silver anniversary of the film. Thank you Lucasfilm!

On June 12, 1981 the world was introduced to movie and pop culture icon, Indiana Jones. It's hard to believe it's been almost 25 years since the release of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

| Indiana Jones trading card series - To start his new series a trading card company could release a trading card series based on Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade since that film did not have a trading card series and the other two did when they were originally released. It doesn't make sense that Last Crusade didn't have a trading card series. Most fantasy and/or sci-fi films always receive a trading card series. Click here to read more... |

| Holy Grail #2 "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" The Arcade Game was created by Atari. It followed the 1984 coattails of the hit film and was released in 1985. This is another great game in the Indiana Jones franchise that harnesses the appeal of the film by using actual dialogue and recreating famous scenes, such as the mine car sequence. In a town near where I grew up this game remained in an arcade in a mall in working order until the early 90s. At one point I noticed that it was actually for sale for $250. Being a poor college student at the time I couldn't afford it. What a great price! I recently saw the game for sale on an online arcade game |  |
